Normand Bourque has a solid knowledge of transportation; He has held various positions in the past 30 years, both in the public and private sectors. He sits on and participates in numerous committees and government tables related to the trucking industry. His main areas of expertise are in the regulation of loads and dimensions, vehicle safety standards, energy efficiency, stowage, and labor issues. He is a graduate of the École polytechnique de Montréal and a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec. Since 2008, he has held the position of coordinator, technical and operational files at the Quebec Trucking Association, where he represents and defends the Interests of carriers. As part of his duties, he also provides advisory services to CQI members.
